The Solis S6 Pro 12kW is a high-performance single-phase hybrid inverter designed for large residential and small commercial solar installations in South Africa. Built on the S6 generation platform (model: S6-EH1P12K03-NV-YD-L), it delivers 12kW of continuous AC output with three independent MPPT inputs, an IP66 weatherproof enclosure, and full NRS 097-2-1 certification — making it one of the most capable residential hybrid inverters available for South African grid installations.

With sub-10ms UPS switchover, 200% overload capacity for motor and compressor starting, generator integration with automatic start/stop, and SolisCloud smart monitoring, the S6 Pro 12kW gives large homeowners and small business owners complete energy management — on-grid, in backup, or running alongside a generator.

12kW Single-Phase Output with 3-MPPT Solar Input

• Rated Output: 12kW continuous single-phase AC output (L/N/PE, 220V/230V). Three independent MPPT inputs allow solar strings facing different orientations, or subject to varying shading, to be managed separately — maximising harvest across the full array without compromise.

• PV Input: Accepts up to 19.2kW of solar input across 3 MPPTs (2 strings each, 6 strings total), with a maximum open-circuit voltage of 550V and an MPPT operating range of 80–520V. Supports recommended array sizes up to 24kW for optimised energy yield on larger residential rooftops.

LV Battery Support — 250A Continuous Charge/Discharge

• Battery Compatibility: Compatible with 48V nominal (40–60V) lithium-ion and lead-acid battery banks. Supports up to 250A continuous charge and discharge current, enabling fast battery cycling to keep energy reserves topped up through the day and available through the night. CAN and RS485 communication ensure compatibility with all major 48V battery brands.

Sub-10ms UPS Backup & 200% Overload Capacity

• Backup Performance: Switches from grid to battery backup in under 10ms — effectively uninterruptible for most sensitive equipment. Delivers 200% of rated power (24kW) for 10 seconds during backup mode, enabling reliable startup of pumps, compressors, and heavy loads without tripping.

Generator Integration, Peak Shaving & Parallel Operation

• Advanced Functions: Supports multiple generator connection methods with automatic start/stop control, enabling seamless hybrid microgrid operation during extended outages. Built-in peak shaving in both self-use and generator modes reduces energy costs. Up to 6 units can be stacked in parallel for larger system configurations.

7-Inch LCD, Bluetooth & SolisCloud Monitoring

• Monitoring & Control: 7-inch LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity to the Solis Home app for local and remote monitoring. RS485 communication supports the SolisCloud platform for AI-assisted energy management, real-time performance data, and fault diagnostics. Optional Wi-Fi, cellular, and LAN modules are available.

IP66, NRS 097-2-1 & 5-Year Warranty

• Compliance & Protection: IP66 rated for full dust and water-jet protection — suitable for outdoor and semi-exposed installations.
