Medford Script LipiScript — Comprehensive Lipid Management for Cardiovascular Support


LIPIscript is formulated to support optimal cardiovascular health by addressing multiple lipid parameters. It features Inositol hexanicotinate and Guggulipid extract, which work synergistically to reduce LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and lipoprotein (a) levels while elevating beneficial HDL cholesterol. Beta-sitosterol further contributes by inhibiting dietary cholesterol absorption in the intestines. Additionally, ingredients like Turmeric extract, Policosanol, Folic acid, and B vitamins assist in managing homocysteine levels and preventing oxidative stress, collectively promoting a healthy lipid profile and arterial function.


Mode of Action


Inositol hexanicotinate lowers LDL cholesterol, Lp(a) lipoprotein, triglyceride, and fibrinogen levels while simultaneously raising HDL cholesterol levels.


Guggulipid extract contains ketonic steroid compounds – guggulsterones – that account for its lipid-lowering action. Guggulsterones significantly lower serum triglycerides, LDL and VLDL cholesterol and they raise levels of HDL cholesterol.


Beta-sitosterol is a plant sterol that has been found to reduce blood levels of cholesterol by blocking its absorption. Beta-sitosterol is similar in structure to cholesterol, and is able to displace cholesterol from micelles in the small intestines, which then inhibits cholesterol absorption.


Turmeric extract (curcumin longa) the curcumin content of turmeric may lower serum cholesterol levels and help to prevent and treat atherosclerosis. Turmeric may also inhibit abnormal blood clotting by inhibiting platelet aggregation and by lowering elevated fibrinogen levels.


Policosanol extract may lower elevated total serum cholesterol levels, increase HDL, inhibit the oxidation of LDL cholesterol and may lower elevated LDL cholesterol levels.


Folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 assist in the reduction of homocysteine.
