Installation / Use / Maintenance Tips



  • Replace cam followers as a complete set, not individually, to maintain even valvetrain wear.

  • Pre-soak hydraulic lifters in clean engine oil before fitting to bleed out air.

  • Clean lifter bores in the head or block thoroughly before installing the new lifters.

  • Inspect the camshaft lobes for wear or pitting and replace if damaged.

  • Refill with fresh engine oil and filter, and allow the engine to idle gently on first start to let lifters bleed up before revving.
