Spyderco makes knives like the Matriarch 2 for professionals. This model has the Emerson wave opening feature for the quickest possible opening and a titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating for tactical applications!

The Matriarch 2 is built on the handle of the popular Endura design. It features full skeletonized stainless steel liners, providing an outstanding balance of strength and weight, while its injection-molded FRN handle boasts Bi-Directional Texturing for a superior grip. Screw-together construction and phosphor-bronze washers ensure maximum precision and smooth operation.

The blade of the Matriarch 2 is hollow ground from VG-10 stainless steel and features the signature Reverse “S” edge profile of the classic Civilian, which is designed to maximize cutting performance with all areas of its edge. Its point is thicker than the Civilian for increased strength and strategically shaped to nest discreetly into the handle in the closed position. The fully serrated SpyderEdge provides maximum cutting power. The trademark Spyderco Hole provides positive one-hand opening of the blade with either hand. The Matriarch 2 also offers unmatched carry options with the four-position hour glass pocket clip for left/right tip-up/down carry.

Centurion D5 - no more official support.

Since the Centurion D5 isn't supported at all anymore by Centurion Systems, I bought this scarce item as a "backup" for the day I need it. (Along with refurbished D5 CP80 controller, from another supplier though.)
Much easier to replace just the gate sensor & harness - or CP80 - than de-wire / re-wire all connections than replacing the entire D5 gate motor!
Arrive perfectly & securely wrapped and courier service was very quick.
