Built for 24V inverters, where lithium options are thin on the ground. Most of the residential battery market has moved to 48V systems — which is great if you're running a modern 48V hybrid inverter, but leaves owners of 24V systems with a much shorter shopping list. The Hubble AM-4 is built specifically for that segment. At a nominal 25V and 2.75kWh / 110Ah capacity, it's designed to drop into 24V solar and backup systems where lithium chemistry's longer cycle life and faster charge/discharge characteristics actually pay off compared to the lead-acid batteries traditionally used on those systems. The AM-4 is 1C rated, meaning it can charge or discharge at its full capacity — up to 115A continuous charging and 100A continuous discharging through its onboard Battery Management System. The BMS handles cell balancing, current limiting, and protection against over-charge, over-discharge and over-temperature. Communication runs over CAN bus, which integrates with most leading 24V hybrid and off-grid inverters; for inverters without CAN compatibility, the battery can also operate based on voltage settings configured by your installer. The "AM" in the model name stands for "Any Mount" — Hubble's flagging that this unit can be wall-mounted (with the supplied heavy-duty side handles) or installed flat on a shelf or in a standard server rack. It cannot, however, be mounted upside down or sideways — that's worth knowing during install planning. Internal fire suppression and Hubble Cloudlink readiness (for optional cloud monitoring) round out the build. Scaling is genuinely substantial for a battery this size: up to 15 units can be paralleled per string, building a 24V battery bank of around 41kWh if your inverter and system design allow for it.
