Panaxea Berberine Complex utilizes high-potency alkaloid extracts, primarily sourced from Coptis chinensis, to actively modulate key metabolic pathways. The active constituent, berberine, acts as a potent adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK) activator, which plays a critical role in regulating systemic glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity. By supporting healthy cellular glycolysis and insulin receptor expression, this clinical-grade formulation helps manage metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and lipid imbalances. Enhanced with a precise synergistic fraction of Corydalis turtschaninovii, the complex provides balanced physiological support while mitigating chronic systemic inflammation.


Product Description


Berberine is a major phytochemical component of the roots and bark of herbal plants such as Berberis, Hydrastis canadensis and Coptis chinensis. It has been implicated in the cytotoxic effects on multiple cancer cell lines. It significantly suppresses the VEGF-induced up-regulation of matrix metalloproteinase 2 (MMP2) at both mRNA and protein levels.
