The engineering interest at this capacity is the tension between output and noise. Traditional non-inverter aircons at 24,000 BTU are loud — the compressor thumps on at full power, holds the room close to temperature, thumps off, and repeats. The Kelon's variable-speed inverter compressor doesn't work that way. It ramps to the output the room actually needs and then modulates continuously — which means the unit reaches its indoor noise floor of 37 dB(A) on the low setting even at this size class, quiet enough for boardroom conversations, home cinema evenings, or working from a large home office without background hum getting in the way.
