Where peak power is so often required only for a\u003cbr\u003elimited period, the MultiPlus-II will compensate insufficient generator, shore or grid power with power from the battery.\u003cbr\u003eWhen the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.\u003cbr\u003eSolar energy: AC power available even during a grid failure\u003cbr\u003eThe MultiPlus-II can be used in off grid as well as grid connected PV and other alternative energy systems. It is\u003cbr\u003ecompatible with both solar charger controllers and grid-tie inverters.\u003cbr\u003eTwo AC Outputs\u003cbr\u003eThe main output has no break functionality. The MultiPlus-II takes over the supply to the connected loads in the event of\u003cbr\u003ea grid failure or when shore\/generator power is disconnected. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that\u003cbr\u003ecomputers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.\u003cbr\u003eThe second output is live only when AC is available on the input of the MultiPlus-II. Loads that should not discharge the\u003cbr\u003ebattery, like a water heater for example, can be connected to this output.\u003cbr\u003eVirtually unlimited power thanks to parallel (not for the 8k, 10k and 15k models) and three phase operation\u003cbr\u003eUp to 6 Multis can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Six 48\/5000\/70 units, for example, will provide\u003cbr\u003e25 kW \/ 30 kVA output power with 420 Amps charging capacity.\u003cbr\u003eIn addition to parallel connection, three units of the same model can be configured for three phase output.
